One thing that caught my attention in South Korea was the padlocks with love messages, known as Korea’s Locks of Love. Couples would write their messages and promises to each other on separate padlocks and lock them together on fences, bars, cages or where ever they can. This can be found in several places, one of the popular spots for this trend would be the Namsan tower in Seoul. Whats interesting is that some people would actually bother to remove their own padlock after breaking up from their relationship, leaving the other padlock alone, which was a way to tell how many relationships got broken up.
Was in South Korea during the Christmas week, twas the best time to do Christmas shopping. The weather was so cold i could die, -10c in Seoul! a minute without ur gloves, and its already numb. A week of cold weather, healthy food, Korean entertainment, snow and clueless dialogues. Twas a pretty nice Christmas holiday.
